If you are a self-professed GRILL MASTER and think you have the best ribs...enter the GRILLOFF COMPETITION and PROVE IT! Only 12 spots available for competitors!!! First come first serve!

BBQ SHOP CLASSES
Listen up BBQ lovers & foodies!
TRAEGER PRO, and AWARD WINNING PITMASTER OF KRYPTONITE BBQ, Keith Harris, will take the main stage of FOODSTOCK throughout the day teaching FREE BBQ SHOP CLASSES on chicken, pork, ribs, etc while the GRILLOFF Competition is taking place!
We will also have reps from Big Green Egg and Weber take the stage to teach some BBQ shop classes! Stay tuned for more infomration!
The events will be featured at The City of Somerset's FOODSTOCK FESTIVAL on April 29, 2023 in our beautiful downtown Somerset!
ABOUT THE GRILLOFF COMPETITION
The GRILLOFF COMPETITION will consist of 12 contestants/teams who will compete against one another to win the title of GRILL MASTER!
The contestants will be provided a tent, table, grill, some supplies and 2 racks of ribs. Contestants will show up and cook the RIBS on site.
Contestants will submit their ribs at the designated turn in time for judging. Shortly after there will be judging and an awards ceremony!

Meet one of the BBQ Shop Class Instructors!
Traeger Pro and Award Winning Pitmaster of Kryptonite BBQ, Keith Harris!
Keith Harris of Hartville, OH, is a Retail Account Manager for Traeger Grills. He is also the Owner/Pitmaster of Kryptonite BBQ and Lead Instructor of The Kryptonite School of BBQ. He has learned and gained experience under some of the best names in the BBQ Business including World Champion Pitmasters Chris Marks of Three Little Pigs BBQ, Danielle Bennett of Diva Q BBQ, Chad Ward of Whiskey Bent BBQ Supply and Doug Scheiding of Rogue Cookers.
Keith started competing in 2016 when a local hardware store hosted a BBQ Competition where he took first place in ribs on a Traeger Grill and Grand Champion overall. Keith turned this one-time BBQ competition into his passion. He and his wife Meshelle soon started Kryptonite BBQ, a competition cook team and a social media account to share recipes and BBQ tips. Keith has been exclusively cooking on Traeger Wood Fired Grills for the past 12 years, he is also a KCBS Certified Judge and Table Captain.
Some of the barbecue awards Keith has won include the Ohio State Fair Pork BBQ Grand Champion 2018 and Reserve Grand Champion 2019 and finalist in 2017, Grill Your Ace Off BBQ Cook Off Reserve Grand Champion 2017 and 2018. Keith has won several first place awards in all four KCBS meat category’s (Chicken, Ribs, Pork and Brisket) at various BBQ Competitions, he also has two Grand Championships for best BBQ Sauce 2018 and 2019.
